Our Story
Founded in 2023 by Ian Cheng and Tenor Reilly, graduates from the IB Diploma Programme, Augment Education was born out of the challenges we faced during our own IB journey. The IB Diploma is renowned for its rigor and depth, but we noticed a significant gap: a lack of sufficient practice problems and high-quality feedback for students.
Teachers were overwhelmed with large class sizes, making it difficult to provide personalized feedback to each student. Recognizing this problem, we leveraged the power of AI to create Augment Education. Our goal was to democratize access to high-quality practice materials, allowing students to enhance their learning experience without the prohibitive costs.
Through countless hours of hard work, rigorous testing, and a passion for innovation, we've developed a platform that we wish we had during our IB studies.
